Mission Beach is a multitude of temporary installations constructed right after the United States went into its first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At times, San Diego prohibited even walks on the beach, so I had to resort to using my driveway in some cases. The installations were mostly composed of thrifted mirrors, paintings, and other objects used in prior installations, but altered in someway by my hand. At their core, these installations were a form of physical therapy as I adjusted to a new mode of living.
